FALL FORUM MAGIC

Updated: Oct 6, 2018

Autumn, putting the garden to bed . . . and other ghoulish thingies
Lots of leaves from our Black Maple trees
🎃♪♫•*¨*•.¸¸☻It's HALLOWEEN . . .🎃
The lamps are lit
and round the fire
we children sit
A' telling GHOST tales bit by bit
'Till sister Jane says "Hush" . . . ☻¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪🎃

All Hallow's Eve whether it be known as the night of witches, or the feast of St. Andrew ... It signals the end of the gardening season here in Niagara. As we begin in late September to put our gardens to bed, there is a longing for spring in the air. We just can't help it.

As the gardening season ends our (District 9's) FALL FORUM serves to provide a speaker with a topic we should all know more about as we, too, are greatly affected by all the recent years' climate events.

Darrell Bley Curator of Woody Plants Niagara Parks School of Horticulture will give his presentation on Climate Change and Horticultural Adaptation at Rockway Vineyards (3290 Ninth Street, St. Catharines) on Friday, September 28th at 10:45 AM. Meeting commences at 10:00 AM. Tickets &15.00 at the door.
